If you were in charge, what would you do to make Bridgestone Americas a better place to work?
Go on the floor each day and talk to people. make sure the rules and mission is really followed. The mission is great. but the totally opposite is what is happening on the floor. Don't hire more than one family member.
What would you suggest Bridgestone Americas management do to prevent others from leaving?
Better working enviroment, better staffed service techs, and creating a more friendly atmosphere , for employees to work in Also more consistant Store mangers that ALL are on the same page and not running each store differently.
14 years ago, the plant had a division between direct hires and contractors. Subsequent managers changed that to where all was one big happy family. Recent middle managers have restored that separation: degradation having occurred over the last few years. The Current Plant Manager seems to be of good character with great plans moving forward and may not be aware of the division.
