Teacher in Rockville, MD

stressful, but that the game of early childhood.
You either love your job or hate it. Nothing else really matters. The older you get certain aspects of the job doesn't bother you as it did when you were younger.

Love the children!! Friendly and family oriented staff! The children grow on you and you become attached! You build a relationship with the parents that is ever lasting
Infant Teacher in Seattle, WA
on June 17, 2021
Bright Horizons hires some wonderful and caring people who put everything they have into their jobs. They will also hire you if you have pulse and minimal experience with children. This leads to a lot of turnover, which means inconsistency for the children; not what developing kids need.Best practices in WA state is 3 infants to 1 teacher, but they allow up to 4. This is a lot, and as a result teachers are overworked and stressed. My director was especially bad, but the company has shareholders and they are the top priority. We had a toddler room unused, and they were enrolling children without a teacher assigned to the job. You will probably have great coworkers and amazing families but the company does not look out for you.
Preschool Lead Teacher in Rochester Hills, MI
on June 15, 2021
The teachers are able to focus on the children with just enough support from administration. Staff is supported with monthly meetings, breaks, and each other. Students enjoy sharing ideas with their teachers about what they want to learn and teachers can create lessons for those needs.
Director of Internal Communications in Newton, MA
on June 13, 2021
Bright Horizons leads with its culture, At its core is the HEART principles, which are honesty, excellence, accountability, respect and teamwork. In my short time here, I've been very impressed with the efforts placed on employee appreciation and recognition.
