Wonderful at one time before incompetent managers were hired

The only reason I left this place is because there is no opportunity to grow no matter how hard you work and how many times you apply for open positions. The HR is nonexistent as they do not take actions. Hiring managers all do whatever they please and hire whoever they please without interviewing several people. They hire whoever they want to hire then they pretend to interview others for job positions to show the process.

Be sure to be prepared to speak about your experiences and how they may relate the position. They ask pretty standard interview questions which they have written on a piece of paper. You may be interviewed by two people each time.

Brilliant Corners publicly posts the salary ranges for all of its positions. These show the base base and the max pay an employee in that position can be making at any given time, not inclusive of benefits (5% retirement match, vacation, healthcare, etc.). Most employees start within a couple thousand of the base pay and move higher in the range via annual merit increases in the single-digit percentages up to the range cap. Ranges may be amended in future years to increase the floor/cap.

You can compare these Manager salaries to other organizations yourself but my impression is Brilliant Corners pays higher than what is typical for similar positions in the nonprofit sector.

The most stressful part for working at Brilliant Corners is not being recognized for your hard work even when you have been there for a while and have been succeeding in all job areas. Coworkers and managers talk behind each other’s backs and overall it is a toxic environment.
