Bristol Myers Squibb selected this as a representative reviewThey have an amazing work culture, and I had amazing coworkers there if I could join the company again, I will do it, no doubt. I feel very grateful to all of them at Phoenix Site because they were there for me to teach me and coach me every day. Fantastic Place to Dedicate your career path. A company with a Real Purpose!

Loved working here
Manager (Former Employee) - Syracuse, NY - September 30, 2023
Thoroughly enjoyed my tenure at Bristol Myers Squibb in Syracuse. The facility was recently pitched by a South Korean company. Looking forward to see what they do.

Bad Management and IC plan is not good
Senior Territory Business Manager Immunology/Neurology Division (Current Employee) - Florida - September 30, 2023
The IC plan hasn’t been fair for majority of nation. Not surprising, all territories aren’t created equal. Some have much higher index & potential. When more than half of the company isn’t hitting target but the top percent is making a ridiculous amount & you set goals at things like 250% growth that’s not realistic.
Pros
Training is good.
Cons
The management does not treat their employees equal. HR is not behind you.

Great benefits and pay, culture lacking
Paralegal (Current Employee) - Princeton, NJ - September 25, 2023
The pay and benefits is top but you feel like you don't exist sometimes or matter and it's not very exciting. I guess if you have a priority on pay you will like it here

Not my favorite place to work
Manufacturing Associate (Current Employee) - Summit, NJ - September 25, 2023
Management is disorganized and they don't care about contractors. Nothing is enjoyable and the morale is very low. Promotions are few and far between.

High caliber employees, open-ended learning experience, not enough admin staff towards the end of my time there
Manager (Former Employee) - Princeton, NJ - September 17, 2023
Hard working and dedicated employees as well as a great deal of in house training. Overall pleasant atmosphere—friendly and respectful collaboration. Each employee is accountable to follow through
Pros
Meaningful work
Cons
Not much opportunity to work remotely in the past

Great people, poor management
Manufacturing Associate (Current Employee) - Summit, NJ - September 6, 2023
Coworkers are great and the work we do on a daily basis is amazing Upper management lied to the contractors about conversion after 6 months so no opportunity for growth within the company

No growth
Manufacturing Associate (Current Employee) - Summit, NJ - August 24, 2023
If you want to move up, be prepared to be disappointed, it's extremely competitive and management will only help if they like you, your work ethic doesn't really matter

Good company with lots of perks
Research Associate II (Current Employee) - New Jersey - August 21, 2023
Good company to work for if you are a full time employee. Hard to be converted if you are a contractor. Work life balance depends on who your manager is.

It's ok
Maintenance Mechanic (Current Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - August 15, 2023
No a bad place to work, lots of room for improvement, good pay, not great health insurance. People are nice and there is a good sense of doing something that matters.

Meaningful work in an enjoyable environment
QC Microbiologist (Current Employee) - Devens, MA - August 14, 2023
The work is interesting, varied, and meaningful. The majority of the staff is young so there is never a dull moment and plenty of room for growth. Training moves quickly so you are always learning new things, but everyone is very supportive and you’ll never feel like you’re alone.

Great Place to work
Senior Scientist (Former Employee) - Princeton, NJ - August 8, 2023
Good place to work and learn. Great coworkers and facilities. Money is no object. The lake is a great place to stare and space out while thinking over your life decisions.

Stressful Workplace
Territory Business Manager (Former Employee) - Boston, MA - August 5, 2023
Managers had unrealistic expectations and quotas. Boston is known to have difficult access but managers still wanted to know, "how are you going to access Dr. Big Target"- when realistically neither myself or the competition could.

Poor management, lack work structure and reneges on contracts.
Manufacturing Associate (Former Employee) - Summit, NJ - August 5, 2023
Not a stable work environment Lacks leadership. Lacks Human Resources so it’s difficult to file a complaint. Favoritism is rampant in the environment. Environment is racially biased. Doesn’t hold promise as to being hired permanently. Is always on a hiring freeze.
Pros
Great for beginners or entry level jobs
Cons
Not guaranteed to be hired permanently

Poor Leadership and Zero Development Opportunities
Quality (Current Employee) - Phoenix, AZ - August 3, 2023
I spent a few years at the Phoenix facility and honestly don't think i learned anything new. Training and development are non-existent. Management is an absolute joke and they routinely hire their own friends. It makes the leadership teams particularly toxic. There are multiple people in the SLT that truly have no idea what they're talking about - leading to incredibly dumb decisions that floor level employees can tell are going to cause problems. The focus is on running the lines to failure - not taking the steps to actually fix stuff. The Phoenix site prefers the band aid method and "how can we use the SOP grey area to our advantage?" But if you speak up about the poor decision making... prepare for your paycheck to be negatively impacted. The recall that happened not too long ago? It was completely preventable - if only leadership would put QUALITY over their paychecks. There were literally pictures of leaders toasting with whiskey and cigars while floor level employees were completing critical media fill inspections on overtime! You'd think the leadership would at least be on-site during that time for moral support after the previous media failures. But nope. Long story short... the multi-million-dollar expansion project that the employees worked so hard for was suddenly scrapped and the facility is being divested. Trust me, employees know EXACTLY who is to blame for it.
Pros
Pay is good
Cons
Leadership is a joke, no development / training opportunities

Overall had a great experience
Sales Coordinator (Former Employee) - Princeton, NJ - July 27, 2023
Pay was decent. Time off was generous. Colleagues were amazing and really believe in what they are doing. Unfortunately due to reorganizing years ago my position was eliminated but remember my time there fondly.

Great place to learn
DS Co-op (Former Employee) - Devens, MA - July 26, 2023
Learned a lot about GLP and GMP processes, which looks great in future interview. Each lab group has its own "ecosystem" mostly set by the director, so learning about each groups culture is important before joining
