Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) –  San Jose, CAOctober 19, 2018
Assisting passengers, reviewing correct visas and documents. Everyday is a new task depending on how much you know! Computer system is easy to learn. Supervisors are always there to help you when you're not sure of something. I learned that it was always okay to ask questions, and never assume something when you're not sure.

Customer Service Agent (Former Employee) –  Los Angeles, CASeptember 30, 2018
It was a fun job I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately management was very unorganized which caused undo stress for all all of the agents. I learned a lot about international travel and what documents are necessary under all kinds of circumstances.

I was a contractor about 20 years ago, so am not sure how things are at the moment, but they were great when I was there. Five stars in my mind. Interesting projects in ticketing and cargo management areas if that is your thing. In-house training is also available for beginners.

Manager (Current Employee) –  Newark, NJApril 26, 2018
There really is no typical day working in an airport environment. I suppose that is what makes it so attractive and challenging, never dull. Working in a dynamic environment means that you always have to be on top of your game and you need to understand that customers pay a lot of money for an experience which needs to be delivered in a consistent manner all of the time. The workplace culture is to ensure we provide top notch customer service and support one another in its delivery. Managing the team is based on accountability, trust, honesty and understanding. The hardest part of the job is ensuring all facets of the business work together to ensure we meet the customers expectation of their British Airways experience. The most enjoyable part of the job is interacting with customers and business partners on a daily basis and looking at ways to constantly improve processes.
Pros
Interacting with my team, suppliers and customers
Cons
Not being able to fulfill customer expectations

Integrated Ramp Supervisor (Current Employee) –  Greater LondonApril 18, 2018
If working on the ramp there are plenty of opportunities to gain experience in a multitude of departments. In order to stand out you need to go the extra mile as it is a large company and those who are quiet can often go unnoticed. The benefits of staff travel make all those hard days worthwhile.

Great fast paced place to work with options for advancement
Customer Service Agent / Acting Supervisor (Current Employee) –  VariousApril 1, 2018
Fast paced airline position where you can always find options for advancement. Great pay, great vacation benefits and travel benefits. Nice variety of people to work with. Most difficult part of the job is dealing with flight delays and cancellations. Best part of the job is the vacations you receive and salaries. As being with an international airline, the options to see the world is endless.

pay, vacations, travel benefits
