Job Work/Life Balance
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNER TEACHER ASSISTANT (Current Employee) – Broken Arrow, OK – May 25, 2019
BAPS is definitely a place you want to work if you have education. Support staff is underpaid and it may be better off for a stay at home parent as a source for extra income. Cost of living is high for low pay.
Substitute Teacher (Former Employee) – Broken Arrow, OK – October 22, 2018
Substitute teaching has it's rewards and they are few. You get to pick your schedule on a daily basis, the hours are good, no weekend or holidays. The drawbacks are many. The pay is terrible, not a livable wage. You have to deal with the stress of the regular teacher time 10 since you get no benefits and the kids don't know you or respect you. I would say do this job if you have nothing better to do
