Spending time with my residents was always the best part of my day. The job was stressful, but extremely rewarding. A lot of cultural learning opportuities with residents and families.

The hours aren’t really there unless you have been with the company for a while. It’s a pretty good job of you enjoy working with the elderly. The pay isn’t very good though

Terrible pay no benefits hard work always understaffed. The management is completely inept and actually actively work against the employees. Corporate isn't even bigger joke than the campus management

I used to love working for my community until it was bought by Brookdale Senior Living. Too much changes, often corporate, profit-focused, not seeing residents as individuals, although that's what they claim they do. It became unbearable difficult and stressful, felt like I had to work for corporate and meet their expectations which had nothing to do resident care. I ended up leaving that community after 10 years.

Job was good. Needed to move on to move up. Expected minimum of 50 hours, when it was not always necessary. I understand sometimes needing to work the 50 hours, but to make it mandatory was not a great plan.
