System Operator / USO Operator (Current Employee) –  Marlborough, MASeptember 21, 2018
Great place to start and get some experience. Canadian company lacks presence in America for workers' benefit concerns. Pay is slightly less than the norm for an operator field in the area.

Manager (Former Employee) –  New York StateDecember 6, 2017
Known for burning out employees. Extremely high attrition rate mostly driven by management and reorganization. Company has little to no leadership. Leadership is driven for personal benefits. I have seen a lot of very smart and talented people destroyed by this company

Attorney (Current Employee) –  Boston, MAMay 17, 2017
Check Brookfield's attrition rate before accepting a job with this company.

Un-discriminatory termination of good employees across the board for no apparent reason. Executives and hourly workers alike are always looking over their shoulders wondering when they will be terminated.

Utility Worker A (Former Employee) –  Clarion, PAMay 6, 2017
Interesting place to work generating power using a mix of old, 90 year old generators and support equipment, and new modern control systems. Self directed work force that take pride and ownership in the facility. Variety of work each day everything from grounds keeping to generator overhauls. Great group of people to work with and for.
Pros
Spending every day at the river.
Cons
As a temporary employee no benifits

Accounting Manager / Regional Controller (Former Employee) –  Marlboro, MAAugust 20, 2013
The work is primarily Accounting and Financial reporting work. Accounting group is also responsible for consolidating entries, treasury, budget, forecast, analysis and non-income tax related tasks. The group works closely with internal and external auditors and the Corporate finance group.

This position has provided an opportunity for me to be hands-on with acquisition accounting and establishing new company processes. In addition, the company's organizational and funding structures are complex with unique reporting requirements for lenders.

The most challenging and enjoyable part of this position has been establishing my department and growing the group into a successful, cohesive team.
Pros
Opportunity for personal growth, small company group activities
Cons
Software has not kept up with company growth

Windows 7 Deployment & Support Specialist (Former Employee) –  Marlborough, MAMarch 11, 2013
By far brookfield is the best place I have ever worked at. At first the first deployment was confusing, however as we deployed more sites, we developed a process for making a smooth deployment.
