Sick leave, vacation, and holidays are all under your earned paid leave. Different divisions earn differently. When you are salary, you have to use your earned paid leave for federal holidays. Not the best PL policy for newer employees.

The vacation and sick leave are combined into one pool so the company doesn't require you to tell why you are using the time. The longer you are at Brooks the more paid time you are given. You can 'roll-over" up to 160 hours of unused time per year into the new year. You can cash-in up to 40 hours each year for extra money. New hires start with at least 2 weeks of combined paid vacation and paid sick leave.
