It's a joke of a place and miserable poor staffing and makes you feel unappreciated.

Learn to treat your employees like they aren't just a number, accommodate better so maybe you can keep people and have better staffing, stop acting like your a five star facility because everyone just fakes it till they make it when states around. In reality no one helps pass trays to residents but CNA's, You keep the bad employees and yet treat them great and they good ones are fired. However the bad ones can get away with anything.

On average, I would typically work 8 hours a day and on weekend I worked 16 hours.

Yes. You are paid minimum wage for CNA training. After CNA training you are paid 12.50 an hour. After a year of working there you can go to school for your LPN through them and they pay 100% of your tuition. From what I've heard they have been lenient lately and are starting people after five months.
