Once upon a time, I was a broke college student looking for extra money and work while going to college. Fast forward 12 years and I am still here. #32&stillservingyou

Love being around family. The customers and team make you feel like your part of the family. The hardest part of the job used to be the hours, but the Hours or Operation were changed during the week.

Stow location- This bar is a difficult place to work if you cannot fit in with the current staff who has been there for 3-10 years. After my time here I would recommend you work here only if you are a young college student who doesn’t have big responsibilities. Your schedule may require you to close..example: 5pm to close..which means that you will leave at 4am or later.. keep that in mind. The MGR at stow location will NOT have your back unless you are close. I cannot even count how many times drunk, belligerent people stumbled in, harassed and threatened us and mgmt did nothing to protect us. Absolutely terrifying leaving in the middle of the night alone from here. There is NO security and you’re often alone with one person closing the bar. One of the biggest issues here is the politics. You must be best friends with the female bartenders to survive. They are mean and if you’re not in their group then good luck. The regulars that drink here are ALSO their best friends so get used to that. The money you make is NOT consistent and after years of working here I can confirm that the girls will do everything in their power to get you off the clock. The girls who have worked here for over five years don’t work weekends so say goodbye to your Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s. Literally awful place I thank God every day I don’t have to be there anymore. This is an unsafe work environment, you are not protected and the manager will NOT have your back, he is drunk 75% of the time he is there.

I only worked here for 9 months, but I will say the staff was really great during this time period. I loved my managers and most of my coworkers. Generally everyone was nice. They provided a lot of training and were very patient with me being relatively new to the bartending world.

Flexible scheduling makes it a great second or college job. There is also the possibility of advancement for those who are interested. We work hard but have fun at the same time.
