Dispatcher (Former Employee) – Hilliard, OH – October 4, 2017
Bruner is an awesome place to work for. Just watch what you say around people. I enjoyed working for this company aside from dealing with certain tech's that didn't want to help you out at all. As an employee in the office, you are non-union. However, the tech's are union. So there for, your job as a dispatcher is harder than what some of the higher-ups may believe. They don't offer you true support even though they say they back you. Being a dispatcher, your in the "hot seat". Everything comes down to you, even if your tech's are the ones not doing what they are supposed to. The amount of work is crazy that the dispatcher does (at least it was when I worked there), not only do you have customers calling, you also have to deal with the tech's that are "golden", and run multiple reports, to just in the end make you believe like your voice was heard. Anyways, all in all I rate this company a 4 out of 5 because the work environment although stressful is rewarding at the end of the day.
Pay, Inner office coworkers
Upper management, workload, Union Techs that beleive they are untouchable
Assistant for six engineers in the HVAC field (Former Employee) – Hilliard, OH – September 4, 2017
I worked with the Engineers and they were great to work with. There seem to be a lot of ego in the upper structure of the company, The hardest part of the job was there were so many rush jobs that were on a time schedule
