Never a dull moment, always busy
Licensed Real Estate Professional (Current Employee) - Buffalo, NY - September 14, 2020
Buffalo City Living is a REALTORS' office headquartered on Main St in Buffalo. The office has adequate free parking space for agents and clients, which is rare for an inner-city company. Management does a really excellent job of generating plentiful sales leads through the year. As a Licensed Real Estate Agent, I never find my self with "slow time." There's also plenty of opportunity to make a name for yourself here and advance in your career because it's a smaller, family-run business. The owners also offer tenured agents (who hold a real estate broker license) to buy stock in the company and get paid dividends on corporate profits. The only catch is, you really need to have an adaptable and resilient personality to do business in and around the City of Buffalo. This company does not discriminate and the staff is required to work with clients and customers from all walks of life and different cultures. Agents have regular dealings with prospects, clients and customers from other countries, or speak languages other than English. When dealing in rentals and investment properties, you have to keep your eyes and ears wide open and your wits about you with regards to inner-city crime and other drama. If you treat people with respect, and you can skillfully navigate the B.S. when customers show you disrespect, Buffalo City Living can set you on a path to accomplishing high career goals.
Pros
Earning Potential, Career Advancement, Challenge
Cons
Exposure to Inner-City Crime, Customer Drama

Office Administrator/Bookkeeper (Former Employee) - Buffalo, NY - July 9, 2020
Very busy which I liked owner micro manages every aspect of your day which I did not mind at first. Room for advancement. Promises raises but never delivers on them. Required me as a bookkeeper to get my real estate license in order to get my raise which was not a requirement when I was hired.

Buffalo City Living Real Estate Sales and Leasing
Licensed Real Estate Agent (Current Employee) - 1555 Hertel Ave, Buffalo, NY 14216 - September 13, 2016
Buffalo City Living has a unique business model compared to other real estate companies. The company feeds me with more than enough leads to meet my sales goals. As a licensed real estate agent, I have been closing 10-15 real estate transactions per month for Buffalo City Living's clients. The work environment is tightly-knit and very fast-paced. One thing I can say for certain is that no Buffalo City Living employee is ever bored at work!
Pros
I'm never bored at work
Cons
Always busy / no down-time

Very Organized c
Scheduling manager (Current Employee) - Buffalo, NY - February 7, 2015
This is a relatively young company that is very well organized and structured. The co workers are great and work well together. The hardest part of the job is managing the necessary components to Property Management. I have learned many skills as far as legal matters and the sensitivity that it emcompasses. The most enjoyable parts of the job are the relationships I have built with the customers and tenants, as well as my co workers.
Pros
Very organized
Cons
Extremely rigid
