This company is ran by a woman who may not completely understand how to run a business, but she does the absolute best she can. I didn't like working there. They work you way too hard and don't want to pay people very much. They even wanted to fire a girl for getting workers compensation.

I love the fact that we have an opportunity to plant a positive seed of hope for the residents outlook of life. The culture of BFWC is lively and supportive. It is hard work at the shelters, working with women and families, they have experienced domestic violence, elder abuse, homelessness or a number of other tramas. BFWC staff support one another through case conferences and staff meetings to share the residents case management and speak about issues residents are experiencing. Being a part of a team that assists an individual accomplish a goal towards a brighter futuer is a reward of its own.
