Would never consider property management a fun industry, but Buildium does a good job of keeping employees excited about their customer and the product. The best thing about Buildium is the focus on getting to know the customer, and the willingness to allow you to do that. Another perk is that most employees are encouraged to attend a workshop related to their role to improve their skills. The downside to Buildium is that it's got a heavy meeting culture, there's a lot of decision by committee meaning it's hard to get things done, and it's difficult to have ownership on what you're working on. A mediocre aspect is their monthly meetings where the executives line up for an ask us anything session. It's good in theory, but something about it is off. Practice week is also cool, but poorly communicated outside of engineering. There are some fun initiatives happening, but that depends on whether you want to attend those things. The most enjoyable part of the job is all the tools you have access to and the ability to learn a lot, the least enjoyable part is navigating getting a decision across departments.

Buildium is an incredible place to work. I've been here for more than a year and we've gone through a lot of changes as a company, and they've all been positive. We received a $65 million investment last year which we're using to improve our product and invest in sales and customer service. Our sales team has aggressive goals but the whole company works together to accomplish them. We break all-time records on a monthly basis and it's an exciting time to be a Buildian. I've referred four people here in the last year and can honestly say it's the best company I ever worked for. I hope to be here for many years.

Buildium is truly a special place to work. Embodying a start up culture backed by a long-time developed product, the company cannot stop growing. The employees are smart, hard working and fun to be around. There are great benefits and the company will take care of you no matter the circumstance. They put their customers and employees first. Rarely do you find a company that has developed a quantifiable measurement for both employee and customer satisfaction that they base their company goals off of. Despite rapid growth, culture remained centric to the company direction and goals. The company has a very loyal, large customer base that will keep them in business for a long time. I highly recommend Buildium.
