Good company
Driver (Former Employee) - Hopkinsville, KY - September 15, 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood company to work for overall. Drivers could work either a Monday through Friday or four on/four off schedule. There are only a certain number of loads per day so if there are more loads than drivers, some of the Monday through Friday drivers would have to stay home without pay.

Wasn't there long because I didn't like the company
Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) - Griffith, IN - September 14, 2023
Only spent 2 months there. Typical trucking job with bulk commodities. I wasn't a fan, but some will like the job. It's very demanding work and takes some adjusting to procedures. As with most companies, management never drove, so they are douchey.
Pros
When I quit
Cons
Have to load and unload. Long days. Young man's job.

Hustle Till You Drop!
Tank Washer (Former Employee) - Barnesville, GA - September 11, 2023
The job description outright lies about the hours. Often you'll be working sun-up to sub-down due to the nature of the work in cleaning the tanks. It's also rough if you live far away, since you'll likely have to make a drive back and forth after being exhausted from back-to-back long days.
Pros
Decent pay with the often mandatory overtime.
Cons
Abysmal hours and rough conditions.

Started good but went down hill fast.
CDL Class A Driver (Current Employee) - Taylor, MI - September 7, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I’m a current employee and I will say don’t wast your time. This company is all about throwing drivers under the bus. They have cameras facing in and out with sound. They have a no phone policy and they write u up. They pay by the load and if they don’t have work yo make pennies and they have too many stupid rules to mention. I you think I’m lying then ask yourself this, what a 10,000$ sign on bonus means? They need works and it’s not SYSCO , USFoods type of brutally physical work. They want to micromanage and helicopter pilot the trucks. I don’t know about other terminals but the one in Taylor Michigan is a non starter. I say eff the whole company. They think drivers should be scared to lose a job. They also have quite a few snitches on the payroll. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management. They are constantly looking for things to correct you on. They need to justify their jobs. Especially safety What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment is depressing. You never know who is reporting on you What is a typical day like for you at the company? Work isn’t hard once u learn it. Some of the trainers make it out to be rocket science but it’s not

Not bad job. Lots of micromanaging of drivers and cameras that look both ways. Pay is good and the job is easy on the body. Good benefits and was pretty good about requesting pto days

Stay away
Driver (Current Employee) - Ambridge, PA - July 7, 2023
If you want a life stay away. The company is always looking for a way to screw you out of money. The dispatchers are terrible and treat the drivers like trash.

Jobs at Bulkmatic Transport Company
UNDERPAID,BAD equipment
Driver (Former Employee) - Hopkinsville, KY - May 8, 2023
micromanaged by safety manager over non safety related issues.trucks never fixed properly and they make you feel like your doing something wrong when you write up something to get fixed.under paid especially in slow season you will be lucky to make 600 a week.you will be begging for work.dont wanna give you more loads unless it benifits them in any way.gotta fight to get money owed for things like out of route miles and its only loaded miles you get paid for.the only good thing that keeps people here is the 4 on 4 off schedule. THATS IT

No supportive work environment
Truck Driver Class A (Current Employee) - Barnesville, GA - February 1, 2023
The actual work isn't bad and pay is generally fair, but the issues ate within management and employees feeling like they come to work and get a target put on their head for simply doing their job! No clear rules nowlr accent an employee handbook containing company rules for employees! So this leaves everything to be made up as you go instead of having standard rules & regulations in place!
Pros
Good pay for the work done
Cons
Bad work environment

Solid company
Driver (Current Employee) - Atlanta, GA - December 29, 2022
Solid company. Established. Strict adherence to safety. Driver facing cameras. Hard work unloading and loading bulk products. Not your bump dock driving job.

Decent work place
Driver (Former Employee) - Philadelphia, PA - December 22, 2022
Bosses get into their feelings and take it out on employee; work load is okay for the most part but sometimes can be overwhelming at times when its no drivers

It's a conveniently located job. That's it.
Driver (Current Employee) - Illinois - December 14, 2022
They're a typical big company. The only thing they really care about is the bottom line even though they talk all about being a family owned and run company and caring about their employees. They care as long as you're making them a dollar and don't catch the virus. If you're an hourly employee, it seems you are looked at as nothing but a financial burden whether or not you play an important role in operations. Could make the same hourly pay in a factory and not have to deal with all of the regulations
Pros
Free low quality boots once a year
Cons
No room for advancement
