Burlington Medical is a fairly new company that is growing by the minute, of course there are always issues when working with a new company but i feel like they can better prioritize the needs of the company. there are major system issues that needs upgrading to better help us perform and produce the amount of work we get. Overall, i do love the company and i have had nothing but advancement since i've started. there can be an overflow of pressure at some times but i believe that the team you are in can determine your output and understanding of your daily processes.

Awful work environment

Pay is low and benefits are minimal. As a shipping and receiving clerk they expected me to do everything, even getting the mail from the post office when I was the only one Glad I’m not there anymore.Management is lacking professionalism.

Good teamwork and respects

Stressful but good team work and respects among management and people.Management treated everyone fairly whether they are good workers or trouble makers. They listened and showed respects to everyone. Of course there are always few bad apples but overall it was great place to work.

Just no

management is terrible, can't keep people because of the pay and how they treat their workers. Would never recommend anyone to work here, unless you want to be underpaid and mistreated

I’ve worked for Burlington medical for 10 years.

I’ve worked for Burlington medical for 10 years. Burlington medical is a great company to work for. We have a great quality product for professional individuals. We have steady work. We have a great team that works for Burlington medical. They care about the quality of the product, and employees. It’s a family based company. We celebrate the holidays and socialize during the holidays. The employees are all hard workers,and proud of the quality work that is custom made for our customers.The work is not hard, as a matter of fact it’s easy. The hours are great. 1st shift is 6am -2:30 pm Monday-Friday. 2nd shift is 2:45- 11:15 Monday-Friday.

Terrible management

Worst management. If you plan on promotions or raises, look elsewhere. Only people that get those are the inner circle at the top. We are getting "raises" but its actually a raise to go above rock bottom. People leave constantly.

The work isn’t hard just very repetitive and the Pay is not that great either . It’s under new management since I worked there so it maybe different now

It’s a job…

Not the worst place in the world but can definitely be better. Pros: if you like overtime then that can be a bonus. Cons: some overtime is mandatory depending on department

The CEO should be more considerate to the workers. The people on the floor stands out working for this company.

When I first started working I couldn't wait to get through the door. I knew something exciting was going to happen. They had me training for a month. Back then it took a team to train someone, the floor CEO would come out to greet the people by their names in their language, but new management took over. The management comes out on the floor and walk pass and don't speak. Then , they say we can come to speak with them anytime about anything. I went to speak to a supervisor about somethings and the next day someone had repeated what I had said to the supervisor. I will not sit down with her again. The people that come to the company now are trained in the other building for a month. When they come on the floor to work they're not properly trained. When coming to work for Burlington it's a lot to learn and the new people should not be without a notebook and pen. Burlington does not make it mandatory therefore their work has many mistakes but they give their work to others to fix sometimes and they tell them what they done wrong to me the way Burlington is now it should only be a stepping stone for young people. It's not a place to settle.

Thank you for your feedback. if you have concerns, you should contact HR so that we can have the opportunity to address the issues. We are currently in the process of restructuring the Sewing Machine Operator Training Program so that it is more effective for the employee as well as the business.

Burlington Medical Review

Burlington Medical is a fine place to work. The Customer Care Manager is incredible! There have been many changes from the top down and the bottom up in the company since I started, and I am looking forward to the future here

Typical Day at Burlington Medical.....

Very busy work environment but rewarding especially when the client is happy. No day is the same. The Sales Coordinator/Customer Service Department wear a lot of different hats. We handle all of the calls that come in, customer complaints, customer needs, process payments, create quotes when needed, liaison between the Account Manager and the factory, liaison between the Order Processing Department and the Account Managers, work with facilities to make sure that we have all the correct information needed to process orders and are the support system for our Account Managers out in the field. We offer a lot of products so there is a lot to remember and it is always changing. You need to keep up with these changes. Customer service skills a must. No day is the same and you need to be able to multi-task and be very detailed. The best part of the job for me is being able to speak with people and to make sure that they are getting the best service and product from Burlington Medical. The hardest part is some weeks keeping up with the volume of calls and order processing needs on my To Do List. Also, keeping up with all of the changes. Company is implementing lots of new procedures. The communication and standard operating procedures could be better. All of the people I have encountered here are really nice and everyone is willing to help you.

My company has a mutual respectful environment. It’s a clean place to work. Managers and supervisors are nice and friendly. You can make friends easily.

Changes, changes, and more changes

Decent pay and benefits. A lot of changes happening within the company over the past two years which is a lot to get used to. I believe when the dust settles and all the changes are finalized, it will be a more peaceful environment.

Work Hard, Play Hard

Burlington Medical is a growing company. There is a lot of opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization. We work hard, we play hard. We work hard each day as a team to accomplish the goal of providing our customers the best radiation protection possible. We have recently introduced new fabrics called The Fresh Air Collection to allow our customers to have more options when they place an order for aprons. We have fun activities throughout the year such as Employee Luncheons, Spirit Weeks, Raffles, Secret Santa, Give away turkeys at Thanksgiving, and a Easter Egg Hunt. I enjoy coming to work each day and it is a pleasure to be part of the Burlington Team!

Current Atmosphere

Due to COVID Burlington has worked with us to allow us to work remotely 2-3 days out of the week. Management is great at motivating. Decent pay for the work.

The ability to rise in position and pay is an option available to all employees. You can be hired as a Fabric coverer in production cross train over to embroidery and then move up to the front office as a coordinator for our Sales reps, True story (:

I love my job!

The atmosphere is great and my co-workers are fantastic. There is a strong sense of teamwork, everyone is helpful and pleasant. Even when things are challenging or difficult, we all pull together as a team to get the work done. No one has the "it's not MY job" attitude. My boss is super patient and encouraging. She takes the necessary time to train and make sure you feel confident in what you are doing, even though she is so busy. I plan on being here a long time. There is also understanding when personal issues arise and time off is needed. I recommend working at Burlington Medical.

The days are never the same and are never boring. Sometimes, the hardest part of the day is just keeping up with the work. But when you accomplish and complete your work, it turns into the best part of the day. Management is approachable and will work to address questions and concerns.
