Working at Burrell can be a rewarding job, but the little compensation you get is NOT worth the workload and stress. I was told during my interview that I would be working Monday-Friday 8-5 and that could not be further from the truth. The hours and shifts are not consistent, and it was normal for me to find myself working over 30 hours on Saturday - more... and Sunday and only a few during weekdays. For a long time I worked every day of the week and I had to beg for one day off as I felt like it was compromising my own mental health. It is normal to drive to an individual's house and have them cancel ... - less
ProsRecognize hard work, give positive feedback, bonuses, paid time off
ConsLow pay, inconsistent hours, expected to work evenings and weekends
