Start listening to your employees. Not management, the employees that actually do the work. You have a few people working themselves to death while the others do as little as possible. The nursing managers do not know how to do their jobs. Scheduling does not know what they are doing. How can you reprimand employees for doing too much work?! Especially when the employees who complain about their workload get assigned as little as possible. Leaving others to pick up the slack.

You are getting ready to lose some of your hardest working employees. And since they do all the work, there will be no one left who knows how to do the job. I don't know how you sleep at night.

Start caring for your clients and employees. Stop making decisions based on knee jerk reactions. Get rid of all the management who don't know what they are doing. You literally have nursing managers who don't tell their employees when they need to cover for other nurses who have requested time off. And when they have to cover for nurses they end up sending prescriptions to the wrong clients. One of these days you are going to get caught and get some major fines.

Absolutely love working here. Yes, like any IT department it gets chaotic about 1/2 the time however that is when I shine. There is an open-door policy even with the executives within this company that is very beneficial to all employees.
