You are on your own as an employee here. Management will not support you if you go to them for help with something they don't want to hear, if it does not fit their narrative that "Burrell is the best place to work."

I love it. But I also hate my job and have been through a constant roller coaster on this job. I constantly hate and constantly love this job. Thankful admin is listening and trying to make changes even if it isn’t exactly what we have asked for, some companies don’t do that. We are part of a field that is demanding and draining and we know this going in, or should and you either like it or don’t. In all, Burrell has been great to me you just have to get through the ups and downs and have support from supervisors and co-workers.

I love being able to help people. Pay is supbar for the work you do. It needs more recognition for good employees. Leave is horrible. You can't predict mother nature. We're on the road a lot, respect if schools close. So should we.

Honestly, I'm embarrassed. I feel as though Burrell's money seeking and power hungry management styles give a vad nane to working in the mental health profession.

Working at burrell is ok if you like to travel or do respite care for clients who have developmental delays but the money needs to be comparable to other jobs, this job takes a lot out of a person.
