Manager and supervisor paid me less than the person I trained to do their job. Said that if I wanted more pay, I needed to handle more responsibility. Then they told me that I couldn't talk to anyone in the office about how much people made because it is a cancer in the work place and highly looked down on. I ended up asking everyone who got hired on together with me and they all were being paid the same except for me. Some had degrees, some didn't, but we all did the same work so I was super confused. I tried to explain the difference that I'm making in the company by showing the progress and growth from when I started to one year later but was shot down being told that the growth was expected even if I was there or not. That's when I knew that my efforts meant nothing to them. I ended up leaving when I understood that management does not care about equality and have no integrity in their work practices. I'm happy that I left because there are better companies out there that love hard workers and pay much more. This job is only good to help you job search and move on. Please dont waste your time. Do not invest much into this place as it will drain you.

Not allowed to tell you. Its against company policy to talk about salary and wages with others. Its cancerous to them.

The worst. If it snowed, it would take me 2 hours to get to work, 3 hours if I leave early because snow isn't plowed yet. They would get mad at me for not being able to get there faster.

They love to pay you less if you dont have some leverage in proving your intelligence. Otherwise, you're just a kid.
