Have a good understanding of the business consultant role and market. Look up CGI's market and it's competitors. They touch a lot of different markets and it's good to have an understanding of how large consulting firms operate.
Cube farm. Team leader(s) try to be managers and they aren't. Management should handle their own issues with people. He/She has his/her favorites and allows them to run the show 100%. If you aren't part of that click, you aren't going anywhere within CGI. Cronyism at its finest.
If you were in charge, what would you do to make CGI Group a better place to work?
Listen to your employees, work together to improve things in the company, maybe hire a person, who will work with the COO, or president. I think the head man has so much to worry about, and accomplish, if you had a individual to be in charge, report to the president, or CEO, YOUR SENDING the message that you do care about the employee's, and Their needs and wants from the company. Turn over of employee's changing jobs. It is not rocket science, treat others the way you wanted to be.
How long has it taken for the thorough background check? It has been about a month for me. Is anyone else in the same boat?
