I am current working as contractor holding the position of HR Coordinator. I am responsible for providing operational support to payroll, benefits management as well as recruiting and onboarding of new hires. I didn't have a set routine and I was able to work with different teams, both of which I like a lot. I've learned a lot about benefits and compensation, recruiting, and talent management. However, the biggest learning experience was how HR relates to other departments and how the US HR culture is perceived within the organization. The hardest part of my job was to keep up with the volume of e-mail and requests from different offices nationwide and different countries. Because of this experience I'm able to work in different fast-paced work scenarios with short and tight deadlines. I believe what I like more about my work was the ability to work with great co-workers and the employees of the organization.
