Staff Pharmacist in Ashburn, VA
on September 11, 2015
We started working as soon as we entered the pharmacy. Customers are waiting at the front register and at drive-thru for pharmacy to open and start work. Everyone in the pharmacy worked very hard and non-stop. I liked working with my coworkers. They never took their 15 minutes breaks because they knew no one was their to cover them. Everyone had to do multitask to keep up with the work load. We had work board which we used to assign places and work to individual technician. This helped us manage and organze the pharmacy.
Patient Care Specialist in Orlando, FL

Very stressful work days. Constant complaints from patients about their orders. Told by management to "let the system do it's job" but the system does not work. It's very difficult to reach other departments. No one wants to work and everyone has an attitude. You're forced to be dual trained and not compensated. Unable to change shifts and told there is a waitlist that moves based off seniority but you're never informed of your position on the list. WFH reps are pretty much out of sight out of mind. The only enjoyable part of about the job is the fact it's WFH and there is no commute.
Registered Pharmacy Technician in Fort Mill, SC

Large company that just cares about making money. Poor pay, poor PTO, poor benefits. The long term staff and pharmacists are burnt out and overworked which makes it a hostile environment

CVS Health doesn’t seem to put their employees ahead of anything at all. They only care about metrics and money. Communication is horrible unless you have a good direct boss.
COVID-19 Pharmacist in Vallejo, CA
on June 14, 2021
As a COVID-19 vaccination pharmacist, the job expectations were clearly laid out. Occasionally, there would be last minute changes in the schedule but at the height of the pandemic, the work was consistent.

What do you know how to infuse?

Shared on December 28, 2019

None. The manager I was to meet with showed up two hours late. I ended up sitting in her bosses office who was cranky because her icecream melted. It was the strangest experience.
