Very militant, top-down culture... management lives and behaves like it's 1950's America. HQ is in Orange County, and the owner of the company was Ron L. Hubbard main lawyer. Google the company before you sign on!

No support, look for opportunities to take homes, play in the "gray area" of the law.

When I first began working at Cal-Am I was surprised and how laid back it was. The management explained what needed to be done and was eager to let me know that there was no rush as long as things were done correctly and efficiently.
If you are willing, they will pile up the work and there is plenty of that. With a steady turn around of property managers much has fallen through the cracks on a consistent and steady basis. There is a lack of organization and structure that keeps progress moving at a snails pace, making the work environment more like an old paper pushing job; rather than an efficient business that can move forward with growth efficiently, unfortunately much time is wasted cleaning up past costly mistakes.
