Stop profiting so much just for yourself; instead, share it with others who work just as hard if not harder than you. Allow more transparency and a path way to report poor managers. Train Deans, program chairs, assistant directors, etc. to do a much better job at being decent human beings; teach them to communicate with compassion and kindness instead of tyrant.
