The pay is determined by whether someone comes with a degree, is bilingual, previous experience...etc. Therapists are given part-time hours because the children we work with attend school and we are not able to run session until they are out of school. Some cases do allow staff to have direct hours with the child while they are in school but a majority of our hours come from them being out of school. Being out of school for the summer as well as vacation time or holidays may allow for full time hours.

To get hired, you must have an interview with the staffing coordinator. Later, you have to complete orientation and pass an evaluation. It's relatively quick enough.
