Supplementary Instructor of Statistics (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – February 19, 2018
As a supplementary instructor, it was enjoyable assisting students with learning statistics. I created lesson plans and implicated them on a daily basis. I also graded assignments and kept an attendance sheet.
Instructional Student Assistant/Tutor (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – January 9, 2018
Learnt a lot of new things from the undergraduate students. I would recommend this kind of job to every beginner who is willing to pursue Master's degree as it is the most-valued opportunity you get and learn a lot of things from students.
Intern Student Advisor (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – January 8, 2018
Working at California State University Northridge was an excellent opportunity. Helping guide and educate students on mathematical business topics was and enjoyable sight, watching the students grasp the concepts being taught. It helped me continue my education and work at the same time. Work in the classroom generally lasted around one hour per class session. Management was great and always friendly. The hardest part of the job was receiving a question for which I didn't have an answer to, I wanted to assist further but very rarely had to refer the student to the teacher for further guidance.
Research Laboratory Intern (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – August 29, 2017
I really enjoyed my time working as a lab intern, and the hands-on experience prepared me well for my first job out of college. I learned a great deal of valuable information from the professor who ran the lab and from the other students working in the lab, and they were all a pleasure to work with.
Student Engineer/ Assistant (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – August 23, 2017
This position gave you a balance between school and work. You were allowed to work 20 hours a week. I learned a lot in the fabrication part of this job. Some cons are that you work hard and get dirty for not much money and communication with vendors, coworkers, the department, and the supervisor is sometimes stressful. You will get many emails from them a day and you have to write back to each one in a timely manner.
Student Engineer (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA 91325 – August 15, 2017
Your ambition will determine the environment of your job position. I had a great time working for CSUN. It was stressful but at the end, it was well worth it. A vision became a reality and my teams sweat and labor has been rewarded by having our design solar tree installed around CSUN campus.
Intern Interpreter (Former Employee) – Northridge, CA – June 18, 2017
Interpreting Program was intense, but I certainly learned a lot from my instructors and I surely grew from the experience I gained from them. Word of warning... they will chew you up and spit you out... but it is all for your benefit!
