Stay away!
Corporate employee (Former Employee) –  Belle Plaine, MNOctober 14, 2018
Cambria leadership is primarily concerned with maintaining their image and demanding secrecy - even between departments within the company. The company has no organized plan for the future so everyone just does the same thing day in and day out and change is generally unwelcome. Communication is minimal and there is no goal-setting/annual review process. Management is focused on watching the clock to make sure that employees are at their desks for every minute between 8AM and 5PM. Benefits are poor and the maximum vacation potential is 3 weeks. Corporate culture is non-existent and there is no opportunity for career advancement.

If you want a job where you're always guessing because expectations are rarely communicated and you don't need insurance or vacation, then this will provide a steady paycheck. However, if you're looking for a place where you can add value, grow your career, and feel appreciated then stay far away from Cambria.
Pros
None
Cons
Poor benefits, poor leadership, no career growth, no annual review, and no communication.

I been in Cambria for a year and I learned every system that was needed to complete my job at hand. Moved up to driving all in a non competitive Salary. Asked for raises DC Manager said I need more cross training to advance. I did my cross training and still no raise or talk about why no raise and why.

CNC OPERATOR (Current Employee) –  Greenfield, INApril 29, 2018
Easy going place to work, some management is terrible but overall the actual job itself is a great learning experience. They will hire you with zero knowledge about your area but they will train you to become a great employee. Definitely a job you have to want to learn. It won't just come to eventually unless you try!
Pros
Paid lunch if in building, great boss, laid back, no background check
Cons
Healthcare, a few bad managers, lazy people, favortism

Polisher (Current Employee) –  Greenfield, INMarch 29, 2018
It's hard to catch on for months if your new, lack in training skills. Good co worker's, management is great at working out issues, only downside is if a products ship out on a certain date they'll push it through faster and ends up getting everything else backed up and it's a mess to catch up. They need to start telling customers that they can get their products on a 2 week time frame. Gives us time to sort out the problems beforehand.

Always busy. They were still always adding new lines or finding smoother faster ways to make and grade slabs
QA (Former Employee) –  MinnesotaFebruary 3, 2018
Follow the safety rules. These slabs are huge and heavy. You will get hurt if not careful or aware. Keep your area clean and organized. Always be at least 5 minutes early to get an update of what to expect on the line that day.
