Why they don't rehire the people that was layoff
Great if you don't mind having smoke blown up your behind daily. Management doesn't have a clue. They aren't from a healthcare background and just don't get it

Stressful and unpleasant. There is tension in the air and everybody does the work of several positions.They say they are all about empowering the stakeholders but that is not true at all. You are powerless. There is nobody to ask questions to and a total lack of communication. You will have no communication with your manager or the talent department if you need them.

For my department the work environment was high tension and stressful most of the time. It had nothing to do with the patients or cancer though, just coworkers who didn't get along and made the whole office unpleasant. You felt like they wanted you to take sides but all you wanted was a pleasant work environment and to do your job.
Very formal. The daily connection/huddle can be off putting if you don't like to have a daily guilt trip about cancer patients, and also suffer the awkwardness of questions asked to the group, such as: What do you do in your job that meets the needs of our patients? And this is EVERY DAY.
