It was a great experience here at the Canterbury

I learned a lot from here as a Front Desk agent and customer service. Management were knowledgeable and understanding. I always enjoyed going in to work and spending time with coworkers as all were very friendly.

hard company to work for

Productive workplace where i can utilize my skills

As a front desk agent i normally check in guest/check out guest. All agents are responsible for any paperwork, posting, and handling with a drawer count. During my time at the Canterbury I have learned to become more social and improve my customer service skills. I get along with all my co-workers and have a lot of teamwork in order to have a successful day. The most enjoyable part of my job is feeling a sense of accomplishment and overcoming any challenges that i faced during my day at work.

A fun, productive family like atmosphere

First thing I do is check on my staff , making sure all is taken care of, solve any problems and give them an outlook for the day and week.
Check and respond emails and voicemails.
Check my to do list for the day and start knocking each one off my list.
A staff meeting is held every morning with key operational managers on recaping the day before, addressing the current day and planning ahead.
I receive continuous phone calls to solve guest credit issues, problems with their stay, handling orders and working closely with vendors.
Working hand in hand with other departments is a consistant part of the job.
In the afternoon I switch to my accounting role and tackle the accounts receivable.
