I would suggest someone interviewing at Canterbury to be flexible
with the work environment and scheduling. In my position, some days I think it will be a laid back day and a relatively short shift, but those days end up being chaotic and I work for over ten hours. Many unexpected crowds, situations, and lack of help can occur that a worker just needs to adapt and work with.

Within the Food and Beverage department I am a part of, I would alter the communication strategies among management and employees. I would have stronger training programs for both the bartenders and the food stand associates so management would expect the same skills and work ethic from all. I would hope that different communication strategies would help the effectiveness of the work flow within the department and encourage conversation between workers and management.
