61 questions about working at Capgemini
As others have mentioned here, terrible work-life balance. While on a client engagement you have to be online from 2:00 AM PST, for those uninterminable online meetings with offshore (India) , then head to the client site all day, then evening, more work, until late at night. Constant politics, you always have to be selling yourself to projects leads. Understaffed, overworked. High-Turnover.

Answered July 14, 2020I would start with fixing the culture. Being in technology, which is ever changing, I believe there is no real focus to up-skill and cross-skill employees. Also, there needs to be better HR policies - for the most part people do not even have a dedicated HR partner. There was no objectivity in any performance evaluations and it all came down to how someone (in a powerful position) feels about you.

Answered November 28, 2017The third party recruiting group is absolutely unprofessional and rude!! I got a call from some third party recruiting company for Systems analyst position in Chicago, and I asked a very simple question" are you a direct vendor?" For some reason, this question got the person on the other end offended and start being very very rude. Reading about the company makes me excited about working there. However, giving someone who's unprofessional and very rude the ability to talk to candidates this way, thinking that they have the power to hire or fire people, is absolutely unacceptable and reflects on the company's image. What a shame!!
