Opportunities for those with strong developer / coding skills. UX/UI teams are strong, so opportunity is there. LiquidHub is a digital integrator, so if analytics and tech pique your interest, this may be a good option.

SAP ARCHITECT (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXNovember 11, 2018
Just like any consulting company, no accountability just slog to make money for them without any recognition. Run of the mill consulting group, nothing exceptional.

Unfocused and lacking vision
Principal Insights & Data (Current Employee) –  Dallas, TXNovember 8, 2018
Firm is managed like a staff augmentation group lacking vision and capability to achieve goals. They know what they want but lacking in how to achieve it. For example, they want to raise margins but do not provide the differentiation that is required. As a result, they just raise margins and get priced out of the technical services they provide.

NA Alliances Solution Manager (Former Employee) –  Bainbridge, GANovember 7, 2018
I enjoyed the environment and the team environment, but I never felt as though my position was a long term position. The company made annual changes and it felt as though there was no loyalty to any particular position.
Pros
excellent pbenifits
Cons
no loyalty to employees

Employee retention
Sr. Director- Account Executive Insurance (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXNovember 4, 2018
Capgemini does not have a serious employee retention program. The atmosphere is one of fear of getting laid off. It does not evaluate for alternative positions and this is resulted in fear.

Being one of the worlds leading consulting firms, Capgemini provides opportunity to work globally.
Very Dynamic Environment to work in. Multiple disciplines to learn, specially in the Digital Area with one of the most respected QSR clients.

Capgemini is just like any other indian company where there is nepotism and people at higher level support not your work but the interpersonal relation.

Horrible management
Process Lead (Former Employee) –  Pensacola, FLOctober 23, 2018
Management caused the moral in the workplace to depreciate quickly. Tenure reps left quickly and alot of things were hidden from clients. Benefits are great. Many discounts and perks but management and their decisions caused the bad to outweigh the good.

Worse environment to work
Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager (Current Employee) –  Sarasota, FLOctober 22, 2018
terribly crowded, noisy environment. Difficult to learn processes required to do the job. Took forever to receive a laptop to work on and then constant issues with their server. Long days working 13 hours 6 days a week. The stress level is too high.
Pros
over time paid

worse place to work

Overall working conditions
Proposal Manager (Former Employee) –  Irving, TXOctober 21, 2018
I worked remotely most of the time, only going to the office to work on major projects or RFP responses. Working hours are flexible. However, by working at home, I was spending more time on the job that I probably would have working in the office. Working remotely was a big plus for me.

Most of the time, I was working with virtual teams so in any given month, I would work with multiple individuals in various parts of the world.

Senior Service Delivery Manager (Former Employee) –  At various client sites across USAOctober 20, 2018
You're expected to take charge and make decisions within your area of responsibility. However Senior management engagement is available if requested. This builds individual confidence and provides a "fail-safe" which increases client confidence and satisfaction.
Pros
Responsible for your growth and success.
Cons
None

Good Company
Technical Manager (Former Employee) –  Austin, TX 78701October 14, 2018
Good company to work for overall. Sometimes it felt like the company was a bit too large and coordination between the different organizations became difficult. I would recommend Capgemini as a place to work for a friend or family member.

Lots of broken promises. Not truly consulting
Associate Consultant (Current Employee) –  Houston, TXOctober 11, 2018
Seems more like a contracting firm than a consulting company even though they keep saying otherwise. Doesn't feel like you work for the company but are a contractor for the client.

Promotion requirements keep changing. Barely any pay increase even on promotion, maybe 1-3k every promotion, which is every 3 years now.

They boast about their bonus program but is subjective based on the head of the unit.

But there is a lot of opportunity for growth and learning
Pros
Free training, 401k
Cons
Doesn't feel like a consulting firm
