Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) – El Paso, TX – January 10, 2019
On the computer working cases, checking on the needs of the clients, management available on the floor to help, very comfortable to work at, hardest job was not being able to find the client and the enjoyable part of the job everything.
To be their Predictable Outcome Partner (Former Employee) – Atlanta, GA – January 8, 2019
Really great people, but always on the alert and defensive. You never had the opportunity to relax, day or night expectations of work. Consultants are being asked to be relentless in their work and the lack of bench keeps good workers doing 3x as much as they should.
As an Outsource Company, Capgemini was very good. When my contract ended, the HR representative was the best - she was always there when I reached out and always had a kind word; she even looked in the FL location to see if there was a match with my job skills for an internal position. They were also fantastic in helping me prepare for finding another job. They provided a third party to coach in finding a new job and keep me positive. They also provided different webinars for searching new jobs.
On the negative side, my immediate management team was based in India so this made it difficult for management to see the depth of the job I performed.
Great when contract ended
Not so good with keeping in touch during the whole contract.
I enjoyed working at capgemini. The infrastructure is good. The training classes are excellent. Management is pretty good. Got to learn so many thing and different technologies while working at Capgemini
Sr. SCCM Engineer / Systems Analyst (Current Employee) – Chicago, IL – January 4, 2019
Capgemini is helping team members to participate in other team programs. Very employee oriented place to work. Capgemini should focus on Project Manager or Team leader to address employees issues, senior management should step up.
QA Lead (Project Lead) (Current Employee) – Waukesha, WI – January 1, 2019
Management is not that good. Employee work satisfaction is not at all there. Work culture is good but there is no work/life balance. For beginners it is a nice start for their career. Hierarchy of the managers is too big so there is no transparency in the appraisal process. Even the most talented guys left the company because of the managerial issues. Salary is fair enough compared to other consultancy companies.
best for the start of the career.
employee work satisfaction is not at all present, No transparency at all
Problem Manager (Former Employee) – Austin, TX – December 12, 2018
Face paced but highly collaborative place to work. Work hard, play hard culture. All associates are encouraged to take lead on projects they find personally fulfilling. No one is looked down on because of their role - meaning, if you're a junior associate but you come up with a great idea, you get the credit and you get to work on the project.
