If you don't mind a "Call Center" environment, accepting feedback, and required overtime I recommend working for Capital Group. Required overtime, weekly. There is a bidding system to take vacation.
Great benefits, excellant pay
Call Center, metric driven, weekly required overtime
The campus in Irvine, California was well kept and great for daily walks, The people are great to work with and there are openings in different aspects of their mission. It is easy to move around and management encourages advancement.
Great cafeteria on site in Irvine. Meals are subsidized by CG so very reasonable.
There were none for me.
This company is so many great opportunities and stands clearly behind its mission. The team’s change a lot but since it’s such a big machine, it always shakes out that you learn something new.
Free lunches, strong leaders, smart colleagues
Kindness can be a false facade sometimes, the executive team is a boys club and there is very little push to greatness for any one associate.
It's a great company to work for. They offer a lot of perks and people stay there forever. If you are young and ambitious for promotions, it might take a while.
2 bonuses a year, 15% retirement contribution, overtime pay
It can take a long time to get promoted about Senior Associate/Analyst level
Job seekers rely on your experience.
Every work experience is unique. Let people know your thoughts on previous employers.
Capital Group goes out of their way to ensure their new employees are trained and prepared for the role. The benefits, bonuses, and compensation are hard to beat! As an employee, I felt valued and cared for. The job culture is great, and theres plenty of different groups for your interests! Capital Group has a great understanding of how employees effect their success and they go out of their way to ensure their employees feel valued with incentives and recognition.
If you like going to Happy Hour to advance then this is the place for you, but if you think you skills and experience should help you to achieve advancement this is not going to be the right fit. This company wants a cookie cutter employee, they claim they want diversity but all their employees fit the same mold, any employees who ask questions or go against the grain are mysteriously pushed out the door.
Master Retirement Plan
The company was based in Miami and dealt with high end clientele, therefore I had to be skilled with dealing with even the most demanding of clientele. I was able to adapt and handle this with ease in a way that made both the company and clients happy. Overall great place to work at and gain experience. Company treated me as an equal and helped me reach my fullest potential as an employee.
may be overwhelming for some
