You are rarely updated on facility's protocol or new management staff. Nursing task requirements for an 8 hour shift is usually 10+ hours of work.

Benefits as far as sick time,personal days, holidays, vacation days are archaic. No cost of living raises no matter how good you are. 2percent a year. No merit raises. 6 sick days 1 personal day. 3 weeks vacation only after a year.Careone...modern times are here to stay. Too bad you are on the slow track to nothing this way.

If they need you, expect a call around 4 am and they beg for you to come in because they DO NOT have a per-diem back up staff because they all leave from the abusive treatment of this management!
