The toxic environment
Being scheduled more hours than your shift and no overtime. So many worked thru lunch and punched out at end of day and had to work of clock to finish your day
Patient care is not the priority. Nursing and CNA worked.short staff to begin with and then you have the call in on top of that. And they never replace the person who called in. There are not appropriate supplies for care and I mean dressing supplies for wounds and dressing aren’t even change daily when that’s the order. Rehab staff are toxic, no team work, and gossip about people in deptment. They go out of there way to be outright mean and nasty. And money comes first. Not the quality of care to residents. Something needs to be done!!

You are rarely updated on facility's protocol or new management staff. Nursing task requirements for an 8 hour shift is usually 10+ hours of work.
Since there is no team effort there are obstacle never appreciated
