Have to be empathetic with clients due to health and illnesses.
A typical day was very rewarding. Seeing clients accomplish goals and continue to live at home instead of a center. I learned how to be patient and a better listener when dealing with the elderly and disadvantage population.
The most enjoyable part of the job was making sure and seeing clients smile and take control of their lives in a home or community - more ... setting.
