The dishonesty and incompetence in the hiring process is a huge red flag. The worthless “orientation “ is another. The number of call-offs yet another. When other nurses, both RNs and LPNs, who actually work there warn a new employee how truly awful management , staffing, payroll, HR, etc is? Enough red flags to get some attention. Add in horrendous - more... patient care by licensed and unlicensed staff, discrepancies in a first paycheck and complete and utter panic when the state conducts a 3 day unannounced investigation/inspection and it was finally enough.
