Run if you value your license
Registered Nurse (RN) (Former Employee) –  Gallatin, TNDecember 8, 2018
The dishonesty and incompetence in the hiring process is a huge red flag. The worthless “orientation “ is another. The number of call-offs yet another. When other nurses, both RNs and LPNs, who actually work there warn a new employee how truly awful management , staffing, payroll, HR, etc is? Enough red flags to get some attention. Add in horrendous patient care by licensed and unlicensed staff, discrepancies in a first paycheck and complete and utter panic when the state conducts a 3 day unannounced investigation/inspection and it was finally enough.
I worked 5 orientation shifts and a total of ONE shift alone on the floor. I’m a conscientious nurse and attempted to give the type of patient care I believe everyone deserves. The low number of staff made it impossible to take care of patients in a timely manner. I was again advised by current staff “oh this is a good night, most times it’s a lot worse here”.
No. Just no. Elderly, vulnerable patients deserve much better than this place provides. As do licensed staff who care.
Pros
Free uniforms. The patients.
Cons
Every single thing else.

Worst nursing home on Eastside
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PA 15206March 14, 2018
It’s like jail. No a/c, no ventilation for germs. It’s beyond dirty. Mice, roaches, and bedbugs. Mold in hallways, never any rags/towels for residents. Feeding tubes are triflin, the air conditioners in windows are filthy. And they will kill your family member and try to cover it up!!!!!
Pros
Mixed culture of people, major overtime
Cons
Low pay, no raises, dirty

Steadily going downhill.....
Former employee (Former Employee) –  Gallatin, TNFebruary 16, 2018
Companies like this give long-term care facilities a bad name. Residents are not properly cared for, employees are treated even worse. Bad management from the top all the way down.

All carerite centers in Pittsburgh PA are horrible
CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) –  Pittsburgh, PAFebruary 3, 2018
I worked at the Forbes center for nursing and rehabilitation. They are a joke there. There is no shift differential. No raises every year. The benefits suck. They only start CNAs at 12. Unless you like working in poor conditions then this job is perfect for you. Needless to say they have a huge mice, bedbugs, and pest problem there especially on floor 3, 6, and the main floor. The staff is very unprofessional. They don't care about your family members. It's all about money. There is no staff appreciation. Don't apply unless you really need a job. Also they don't take the pre employment process seriously. They literally gave me the job without checking my urine test. They're desperate for employees. It's sad.save your self time and energy. Go agency. They pay more.
Pros
Plenty of overtime, decent pay if this is your first CNA job, easy work
Cons
No staff appreciation, lack of supplies, bad working environment, poor pay

Great place to work
PRN (Current Employee) –  Brackenridge, PAJanuary 14, 2018
This company is stable and is a slightly different structure than most with therapy being in house. This gives a better feeling of team work and unity between departments. .

Ive learned a lot about the health care industry and what to do for the most part and some of what not to do. Hardest part of the job is having to go home not knowing how the residents will be.

You get out what you put in..
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) (Current Employee) –  Youngstown, OHDecember 20, 2017
If your looking for that perfect job, your never going to find it. No facility is perfect, however you get back what you put in. Beeghly has the very best residents who graciously allow you into there lives with out reserve. The management is new, Being there no more than a year; they all have the same goal as the floor staff; which is to make the residents feel at home while providing high quality care. Majority of floor staff is always available to help each other. If you take pride in your work and love taking care of people and are a true "team player "this is a place for you.
Pros
Fantastic residents

Issued scrubs☹
