Activities Assistant in Fort Thomas, KY
Fun place to work if you like helping the elderly
If you have interest in working here, you will have to wake up early. Overall, the job was super easy and fun. You have to be a helping hand 24/7 to the patients.
STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) in Cincinnati, OH
Place needs to pay more and is a work house
They don't pay enough, and they work you to death. They only want a warm body! It is not a great facility to work at, and needs to be looked at closely!
STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) in Indiansprings
I stayed because my residents
Indian Springs is overall a very nice facility I didn mind working with the people I worked with but I did mind wiring there they are never fully staffed they expect for you to do everything even the nurse work if the aide could, they really don’t care to much for they residents let alone the staff working they pay is great It’s a lack of communication with nurses an aides
Do not work here!
I had a MINIMUM of 28 PTs in long term care and 14 in rehab, it’s always understaffed and you had to beg to get compensated for working short or extra. Definately showed favoritism and made business decisions on a peronsal level. If you can be their friend they will let you get away with anything. Constantly texts your line to come in and work and then after no luck they would bribe you with a gift card to come in. 4 halls are staffed with 3 nurses on each floor, so 2 nurses have to work a cart and a half, sometimes 2 if they are short. Too many cheifs and not enough Indians in this facility, its a nice building but poorly ran. They offer bonuses when they are in critical need and don’t always follow through. I wish they would shut down for good, it should be illegal to run this place. Good luck taking a lunch break AND get out on time. They have nerve to continue to add orders for you to put in no mater how far you are behind. Upper management will not help you even though they are RN’s, but will find you to tell you a call light is on, the aides are nowhere to be found, some literally just walk out as they please.
LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in Kentucky
Dangerous place ro work
Chronically under staffed!!!!!!!! As a nurse I would have 32 patients a night. Most nights I did not have enough aids to work so I was nurse and aid. Pay was excellent but you work hard to earn every cent of you money. Upper management staff is cruel, vengeful and vindictive. Expect to get calls all throughout your shift because the DON and Administrater sit and watch cameras all night and day.
