Ask them how many hours per week you will be expected to work. Ask them how many nights you will be on call. I worked for this company twice. No work life balance. It was all work. Work. Work. Ask about the turn over rate. And look elsewhere. The grass is greener outside of Caris.

They used Behavioral Interviewing. The interview seemed more like an interrogation. I was told by the interviewer that they did not believe I had the experience I said I had. I left the interview crying.

Do something about work life balance. The job is important. There should be a process in place to help prevent nurse burnout from unrealistic work load. Limit the hours a nurse can work. I used to average 60 plus hours per week plus call. I had more than a few 20 hour days when I worked for the company for 2 1/2 years.
