I would stop promoting people based on length of service to management positions. In the physicians offices people are promoted based on friendship and length of service, not on qualification. The Jacksonville office was sinking into the mire before I left due to extremely poor management. HR and the hospital refuse to get involved and the reputation of CarolinaEast in Jacksonville is going downhill.
Train some of the employees that been there for years again because they are lazy.
