Supply Tech (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC – May 23, 2018
Working there was a great experience. The people I worked with were amazing! The benefits for those working full-time look great as well. As a supply technician teamwork is important and my team had it. But I've also seen that teamwork mentally in other departments. In a typical day we would arrive and sort of the materials that have arrived via truck and start gong to the different departments and fill their Pyxis machines of supplies that have been emptied or are low. After that is done, monthly inventories of the Crash Carts are done (which is a continuous process). Any side projects can be done at this time as well, or assist the team member in charge of receiving deliveries from the different mail services (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
Security Officer (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC 28557 – November 14, 2017
Not a bad place to work. Poor management. Over priced services. lack of "Good" leadership. Not paid enough for the job requirements. Made to feel unworthy by management. With the exception of management, the people were good to work with.
Good people to work with.
Poor management and leadership failures were overly frequent.
Certified Nursing Assistant II (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC – September 27, 2017
I loved the people i worked with however they over work you. Rarely get pay raises if at all. Majority of employers are stressed to the max. You are also lucky if you get a bonus at the end of the year. You will stay in the same position the entire time you work there. So if you want a job that will take you nowhere in life than this is the one.
Security Officer (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC – July 27, 2017
I worked in a supporting role (non-health care). The work was easy but interesting and I felt fairly compensated. The coworkers and other departments all got along well together. Most people seemed to be happy and satisfied with their jobs.
Cheap onsite cafeteria, good PTO plan, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff/coworkers
30 min lunch break. Benefits are behind some other employers.
Lab personnel (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC – June 21, 2017
I worked here before finding a better place...they don't give employees any incentives and they only care about hiring inexperienced people so they can pay less. The morale there is extremely low and they have a constant revolving door because of such ....if you want to be appreciated for your work and feel thankful for providing services for them then look elsewhere....they treat their employees terribly.
Too many to list...examples no incentives, low morale, no raises, poor admin
Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant (Former Employee) – Morehead City, NC – June 4, 2017
Its a hospital your going to work a lot of hours and shifts. The pay is not great, but its a start. You can get a whole lot of experience here if you stay a while. They do not give raises that amount to anything.
