“We sell cars, but we’re not car salespeople,” is a popular refrain at Carvana. Instead, we provide a seamless online car buying experience for customers from coast-to-coast. Carvana allows customers to browse, finance and purchase more than 15,000 vehicles from the comfort of home or on the go via their mobile device, while also offering the convenience of selling your car to us without ever having to step foot inside a dealership. Customers who purchase with Carvana enjoy the peace of mind that comes with our 7-day return policy, and the sense of security in knowing that each and every Carvana vehicle is Carvana Certified, having passed a rigorous 150-point inspection and has never been in a reported accident. And with the option to choose as-soon-as next-day delivery or pick up from one of our signature Car Vending Machines, the days of spending a Saturday at the dealership are officially over!

Working 12 hour shifts three days a week seems cool, until there aren’t any deliveries. Then the managers will ask you to go home. Thirty-six hours a week, quickly turns into 29/30. Like the other reviews say: great benefits, great staff and fun environment. No matter the weather you will have to deliver the cars, and sometimes have to deliver cars in downtown DC!!!!

This was a great position because it was salary with benefits of a normal employee with sick leave, vacation, and the option to work extra days on you days off with extra pay. Some days were slow and you still got paid if you weren't required to run a route. Management seemed like a first come first served at the newly opened location so some were great and belonged in their position while a few probably got the job based on seniority. Some of the people were great to work with while others who didn't have the experience may have been proud to boss you around. Otherwise I was spoiled working there.

The pay and benefits is decent. Working for them looks good on your resume I assume. Some of the team leads were friendly and helpful but then you have those that just didn’t care at all. It’s kind of sad how they do their customers though so don’t expect them to treat their employees any better.

Team Lead, Vehicle Transport in Trenton, OH
on November 29, 2022

Working for carvana was great for the first 6 months. The management at Trenton IC is top tier, however corporate in Arizona is very shady and they make some very questionable decisions to cut costs. They promoted me from a VT to a VT team lead after 3 months, and then corporate decided to eliminate all supervisor/team lead positions. I had the option to go back to my previous position, take the paycut and unpredictable schedule or I would be terminated. Would not recommend.
