Server, dining room (Current Employee) –  San Diego, CAJuly 30, 2016
A typical day at work would be, we would have to set up the dinning room, getting ready for breakfast or lunch or dinner. The hardest part about that job honestly would be working 3 times as hard because people call out so often.

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Former Employee) –  La Jolla, CAMay 21, 2016
It's a beautiful location in sunny La Jolla. But don't be fooled by it's outward appearance. I was here for 1+ years and had by far, the worst experience in the Health Services department. There is a lack of management. The workload relative to the pay was not well. Coworkers seem to make the rules. No steady schedule. I was a full-time employee, but my hours varied per every new schedule that was emailed 24 hours prior to my next scheduled shift. Coworkers love to gossip and the rumor mill was always spinning. The only enjoyable part of the job was the residents. They are the sweetest and most caring individuals.
Pros
free lunch
Cons
lack of management, no discipline, workplace gossip
