A good place for people who like to learn and keep busy

A typical day involves helping customers with various services like underwriting loans and helping solve customers financial problems. It can be very busy at times but thats a good thing because the day goes by very fast. You also learn a lot, at first it seemed like so much but management worked with me to feel comfortable. I like the fact that there is always something new to learn and something to do.

The hardest part of the job is helping angry customers, especially for things that are not our fault. The most enjoyable part is helping customers who are thankful that we can help them.
The management is OK, i like my co-workers more than management, for the most part the culture is about working together. It looks like there is opportunity for advancement although I have not been here long enough to know. I also like that they have scheduling flexibility, I can go to school and they work with me to get my 40 hours, my last job would not do that. Overall I would say its a good place to work, especially for people who like to be busy.

learned a lot but did not think the pay was enough for the positions.

workplace was good, co workers very friendly workplace very organized. the hardest part of the job was that there were too many tasks to attend to , a little stressful and not enough pay

From the intial hiring process I was guaranteed there would be career advancements - which was a lie. Another disheartening thing I learned was in order to get a raise -max $1.00, each employee is tested. The test itself is reworded as if it were a college exam when the materials used to study are made for junior high students. As the company is looking to “innovate” and change its ways but instead ends up disenfranchising it’s employees by stripping incentives, and cutting back hours. IN addition management constantly complained for not attaining certain goals while not giving the staff proper tools in order to excecute. For the amount of heavy compliance tellers are pressured to follow, keeping up to date with new polices and the amount of services the company provides a teller is completely under compensated!
Overall company doesn’t really show it cares for its employees.
