Difficult learning environment
Written by Staff RN, Medical Surgical Unit (Former Employee) from Harrisonville, MO on May 29, 2018
I worked nights and received low census often. This left little time to learn the admission process, let alone protocol as a new RN. We mostly had gastric pts (n/v, constipation), hips and knees. Low census made it difficult to pay bills.
ProsOccasional complex patient
Consmostly constipation, hips and knees
