Manager in North Carolina

The company was a good company to work for but since COVID keeping employees or getting employees are impossible. New rules applied by HR for attendance only made it worst. A lot of employees are leaving due to the political views being shoved down our throats and the reverse racisms that is happening with job postings and promotions.

Good learning experience, pay is okay. Training needs to be more important for new hires along with safety procedures. Management needs to have more communication with it's employees and have more incentives for them.

If you do your job and get work done then you're fine. Most of the time it's relaxed. Everything does depend on your location and supervisor. Overtime.

Don’t work here unless you’re okay with just being another body that’s replaceable no matter how good of a worker you are. They play with peoples lives and money even if you do everything right. If you’re experienced and actually make a difference on your line it doesn’t help they’ll replace you happily with someone who messes everything up and no experience. Management is absolutely horrible just ask any old timer out there. Times have changed at cat. It is not a great happy place to be that you can just go in and work your tail off and keep your career. It’s a place where you don’t know if you’ll get walked out or fired today for whatever new made up stuff they pull. Really wish for all the good people who are just trying to work and be good to the company would get rewarded better just by having management who actually make sense and care just a little at least. Place is a joke! No exaggeration here, I’ve actually left a ton out to much to type. Hire new management and better business plan! You make your employees happy then you don’t have to hire 10k people a year at one job site lol. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist. Could definitely push more work that way too. I don’t get cat in Decatur. They’re backwards.
