They need to have a DM who doesn't play favoritism and criticize 90% of her managers. More support needs to be enforced. Pay isn't great and hours are terrible for the associates and part time sales leads. Extremely high turnover rate based on this issue.
Increase the pay rate. Perhaps a benefit or two for your PTSLs. Pay attention to demographics. Get a computer system and support that doesn't have daily issues. Stop the role playing w associates and focus on proper training instead. Send ad changes at the start of the day vs an hour before closing. Upper management might actually visit the store instead of being long distance critics. Never saw my DM during my whole 2 yrs.

I would increase pay. I would not allow customers to return and receive their money back for their online purchases in store. I would allocate more hours to the stores for staffing. I would stop trying to get the 30-35 year old customer, when I've established my brand as reaching 40-70. I would focus on providing updated stylish clothing for that age group because by trying to win one, they are alienating their core customer base. I would also get someone who understands how a size chart or a pattern works. the fit of their clothes is inconsistent from one size to another. I would also research demographics where my stores are located and stock clothing based on that demographic.

How high in charge? It needs a revamp of the whole system. They've taken away everything people actually shop for and keep using a palette and styles the customers are sick of. They've turned everything super casual, disposed of anything career suitable. Brands of bra that people actually look for have been removed and replaced with inferior instore styles.
